Perumda Air Minum Tirta Raharja Terkena Dampak Fenomena Alam El Nino
CIMAHI || Perumda Air Minum Tirta Raharja alami dampak akibat fenomena alam El Nino sejak bulan Juni 2023.
Dan puncaknya terjadi bulan Agustus 2003. Kondisi ini berdampak kepada menurunnya kafasitas air bersih .
Sejak bulan Juni kafasitas air berkurang 10 persen, bulan Juli 30 persen dan Agustus 2023 puncaknya penurunan kafasitas air hingga 40 – 60 persen.
Hal ini diungkapkan Dirut Perumda Air Minum Tirta Raharja, Drs. H. Teddy Setiabudi, M.T saat menggelar konfereni Pers bersama awak media PWI Kabupaten Bandung dan IJTI terkait Strategi Perumda Air Minum Tirta Raharja menghadapi El Nino di Aula PDAM Tirta Raharja, Cimahi, Kabupaten Bandung, Senin (21/8) siang.
Dengan kondisi ini, Teddy berharap, masyarakat untuk berhemat dalam penggunaan air bersih.
Sementara upaya yang dilakukan memperbaiki instalasi, jaringan serta mencari sumber air yang baru.
Untuk saat ini Perumda Air Minum Tirta Raharja, jelas Teddy tengah melakukan pengaturan pengaliran distribusi dengan cara penjadualan distribusi ke pelanggan, sehingga berdampak pada kontinuitas yang tidak maksimal.
“Upaya lainnya melakukan penampungan air di reservoir distribusi di luar jam puncak, sehingga mampu menyediakan air saat jam puncak,” jelas Teddy kepada sinarpos.com.
Tidak hanya upaya konservasi lahan dengan menanam pohon juga telah dilakukan diberbagai lahan dan hutan.

Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
