BANDUNG || Dinas Kebakaran dan Penanggulangan Bencana (Diskar PB) Kota Bandung menerjunkan 3 unit armada guna membantu upaya pemadaman kebakaran di Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Sampah Sarimukti Kabupaten Bandung Barat.
Kepala Diskar PB Kota Bandung, Gun Gun Sumaryana mengatakan, telah mengirimkan 2 unit pancar dan 1 unit armada quick respon ke lokasi kejadian.
Pihaknya kini tengah menyiapkan tambahan armada dan menunggu situasi terkini di TPA Sarimukti.
“Diskar PB Kota Bandung sudah diperintahkan untuk tambah armada dan personil untuk bantu,” kata dia kepada Humas Bandung, Rabu 23 Agustus 2023.
Sebelumnya, api melahap gunungan sampah di Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Sarimukti, Kecamatan Cipatat, Kabupaten Bandung Barat (KBB) sejak Sabtu, 19 Agustus 2023.
Hingga Selasa, 22 Agustus 2023 malam api masih belum bisa dipadamkan. Luas yang terbakar untuk zona 4 luas 5 hektar,zona 3 luas 4 hektar dan zona 2 luas 2,7 hektar.
Ia mengatakan, kejadian Kebakaran di TPA Sarimukti Kabupaten Bandung Barat masih belum padam sampai saat ini dan Penutupan TPA sudah mulai dilakukan.
Untuk itu ia mengimbau masyarakat untuk melakukan Pemilahan sampah organik dan anorganik. Menimbun sampah organil menjadi kompos, dan mengirim sampah anorganik ke bank sampah untuk diolah selanjutnya.
“Serta tidak membakar sampah sembarangan dan berlebihan yang dapat membahayakan,” katanya.
“Juga menghindari penumpukan sampah di Kota Bandung yang dapat menimbulkan bencana Ikutan lainnya,” imbuhnya.
