NTB || Unit Reskrim Polsek Taliwang Polres Sumbawa Barat berhasil mengungkap dan mengamankan dua tersangka pelaku tindak pidana pencurian dengan pemberatan yang terjadi di wilayah hukumnya, Selasa (25/07/2023) sekitar Pukul 15:00 wita.
Kedua terduga pelaku yang identitasnya diketahui berinisial T (32) dan B (26), keduanya berasal dari Desa Labuhan Lalar, Kecamatan Taliwang, Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat.
Berdasarkan keterangan yang yang disampaikan Kapolres Sumbawa Barat AKBP Yasmara Harahap SIK, melalui Kapolsek Taliwang AKP Mulyadi, sore tadi (25/07/2023), menjelaskan peristiwa Tindak pidana Pencurian seperti yang dijelaskan dalam pasal 363 KUHP.
“Kedua Terduga yang kini ditetapkan tersangka dan telah diamankan di Mapolres Sumbawa Barat tersebut mengakui telah mengambil Satu unit Mesin Tempel Merk Yamaha Enduro 25 PK milik Hotel Whales yang saat itu parkir di depan Hotel di Pantai Kertasari Desa Labuhan Lalar, Taliwang,”jelas Mulyadi.
Lanjut Mulyadi, pengakuan kedua pelaku sesuai LP nomor 9 tertanggal 25 Juli 2023 yang dilaporkan oleh Manajer Hotel Whales setelah di pastikan bahwa Mesin Tempel tersebut telah di curi.
Kronologis singkat peristiwa pencurian tersebut dimana pada tanggal 23 Juli 2023 kedua terduga sempat jalan-jalan di lokasi tersebut sambil berfoto-foto. Keesokan Harinya (24/07/2023) malam hari keduanya datang lagi kelokasi itu meminjam kapal perahu kepada teman yang dikenalnya untuk digunakan pergi mancing kepiting.
“Saat sedang memancing keduanya teringat dengan perahu yang parkir di depan hotel yang pernah dilihatnya, kemudian muncul niat untuk mengambil. Saat itu juga keduanya balik ke perahu milik hotel tersebut, waktu itu sekitar pukul 05:00 wita. Tanpa tunggu lama-lama T turun dari perahu yang dinaiki dan naik ke perahu milik Hotel Whales membongkar Mesin Tempel tersebut dan langsung kabur,”tegasnya.
Dari hasil olah TKP dan upaya penyelidikan yang dilakukan Unit Reskrim Polsek Taliwang peristiwa tersebut akhirnya terungkap dan mengamankan kedua pelaku beserta barang bukti berupa 1 unit mesin tempel merk Yamaha Enduro 25 PK, serta satu unit perahu yang digunakan untuk mengambil mesin tersebut.
“Atas tindakannya, kedua tersangka diancam pasal 363 KUHP dengan ancaman 4 tahun penjara,”tutupnya.
