NTB || Kapolres Lombok Tengah AKBP Iwan Hidayat, SIK diwakili Kabag Ops Polres Lombok Tengah menghadiri Opening Kejuaraan Paradigling Acuracy Word Cup (PGAWC) Tahun 2023 series 4 Lombok-Indonesia bertempat di Sky Lancing Desa Mekarsari Kecamatan Praya Barat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah pada Jumat 28/07/2023.
Opening Ceremony Paragliding Accuracy World Cup (PGAWC) Tahun 2023 Seri Ke-4 Lombok – Indonesia diawali dengan pementasan Gendang Beleq dan pementasan tari Wanderland Sanggar Sari.
Kejuaraan Dunia Paralayang merupakan salah satu sarana promosi pariwisata daerah serta diharapkan dapat memberikan efek domino pada perekonomian NTB terutama pada sektor ekonomi kerakyatan.
Tidak hanya itu kejuaraan dunia paralayangan sebagai sarana mempersiapkan atlet-atlet paralayang yang memiliki potensi dan bakat untuk mengikuti kejuaran pada level nasional maupun dunia.
NTB pada tahun 2028 akan menjadi tuan rumah PON bersama NTT dan diharapkan sudah siap sejak dini untuk menghadapi event tersebut.
Event tersebut juga dapat memberikan kepercayaan kepada pemerintah Provinsi, Kabupaten / Kota, KONI maupun stakeholder terkait bahwa olahraga paralayang sangat layak untuk dikembangkan menjadi olahraga prestasi di Provinsi NTB.
