LOMBOK TENGAH-NTB || Operasi kepolisian kewilayahan “Jaran Rinjani 2023” yang dilaksanakan Polres Lombok Tengah, Polda Nusa Tenggara Barat, berhasil menangkap 22 tersangka yang terlibat dalam kasus Pencurian dengan kekerasan, pemberatan dan pencurian bermotor (3C).
Kapolres Lombok Tengah AKBP Iwan Hidayat, SIK. di Praya, saat Konferensi Pers, Senin mengatakan, pelaksanaan operasi Jaran Rinjani 2023 dilaksanakan selama 14 hari sejak tanggal 31-13 Agustus 2023.
“Selama operasi Jaran Rinjani 2023 ini kami berhasil mengamankan 22 tersangka yang terlibat aksi pencurian 3C dan menyita sebanyak 11(sebelas) unit sepeda motor, 6 (enam) Handpone, satu perontok padi, satu tabung las dan satu tabung gas LPG,” ujarnya.
Ia menjelaskan bahwa pada operasi ini Polres Lombok Tengah berhasil melakukan pengungkapan sebanyak 15 laporan Polisi yang terdiri dari enam pencurian dengan pemberatan, tiga pencurian dengan kekerasan dan enam pencurian motor.
Diantara 22 tersangka yang ditangkap, terang AKBP Iwan, 15 orang tersangka diantaranya merupakan pemetik atau pencuri dan tujuh orang adalah penadah barang curian.
“Pelaku yang terlibat langsung dalam aksi pencurian dikenakan pasal 365 KUHP tentang pencurian dengan kekerasn, 363 untuk pencurian pemberatan, sedangkan penadah dikenakan pasal 480 KUHP,” ucapnya.
Kapolres juga menghimbau kepada masyarakat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah untuk meminimalisir niat dari para pelaku kejahatan khususnya pencurian motor dengan menambah pengamanan seperti kunci stang dan lain-lain.
“Kami imbau pemilik motor agar selalu hati-hati menaruh sepeda motornya, meski pun ditempat parkir harus ditambah kunci pengaman dan jangan menaruh motor di sembarang tempat,” tutupnya.
