Penyelundupan Benih Lobster Senilai Miliaran Berhasil Digagalkan
JAKARTA || Bea Cukai Soekarno Hatta menggagalkan penyelundupan sebanyak 34.222 ekor benih lobster ke Singapura. Bayi lobster yang diekspor secara ilegal itu bila dikonversikan senilai Rp5,3 miliar.l
Kepala Bea dan Cukai Soekarno Hatta, Gatot Sugeng Wibowo mengatakan, penindakan bermula dari informasi yang diterima bahwa akan ada Pengiriman baby lobster melalui Bandara Internasional Soekarno Hatta. Itu dilakukan oleh seorang penumpang dalam barang bawaannya.
“Setelah didalami Tim gabungan mencurigai pemuda berinisial DP (25) asal Sumatera Utara. DP yang akan melakukan perjalanan ke Singapura melalui rute penerbangan CGK—SIN dengan maskapai Singapore Airlines SA-9S1,” ujar Gatot, Rabu (2/8/2023).
DP diketahui melakukan check in dan drop bagasi pada pukul 03.19 WIB pagi di Terminal 3 Keberangkatan Internasional Bandara Soekarno Hatta. Kemudian atas barang bawaan bagasinya dilakukan pemeriksaan X-Ray.
“Dalam kopor besar berwarna hijau didapati 36 bungkus berisikan benih lobster sebanyak 34.222 ekor. Rinciannya, enam bungkus berisikan 4.222 ekor jenis mutiara dan 30 bungkus isi 30.000 jenis pasir,” terangnya.
Menurut Gatot, DP mengaku bahwa benih lobster tersebut didapatkan dari seseorang berinisial M yang memerintahkannya untuk membawa ke Singapura. Dengan iming-iming imbalan sebesar Rp10 juta.
“DP melanggar Pasal 102A Undang-Undang Nomor 17 tahun 2006 tentang Perubahan atas Undang-Undang Nomor 10 tahun 1995 tentang Kepabeanan. Ancaman hukuman 10 tahun dan denda Rp5 miliar,” ucap Gatot mengakhiri.
