Bupati Garut Pantau Harga Bahan Pokok di Pasar Mandalagiri

GARUT || Bupati Garut, Rudy Gunawan, Kamis (23/11/2023) melakukan pengecekan harga bahan pokok di Pasar Mandalagiri, Kecamatan Garut Kota. Dalam kunjungannya, Bupati menyampaikan kekhawatiran terkait kenaikan harga sayuran di Kabupaten Garut.

“Kami rutin mengadakan pengecekan terhadap kebutuhan, tomat sekarang naik bu ya, harga cukup tajam, ini juga naik semua ada kenaikan,” ujar Bupati Garut.

Bupati Garut menerangkan pihaknya akan melakukan konsolidasi bersama Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Garut untuk melakukan beberapa upaya dalam mengatasi kenaikan harga bahan pokok di Kabupaten Garut.

Dampak dari kenaikan harga ini, menurut Bupati, terlihat pada menurunnya daya beli masyarakat. Beberapa harga bahan pokok, termasuk jengkol yang naik hingga 25 ribu rupiah per kilogram.

Rudy Gunawan menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya akan melakukan analisis terhadap kebutuhan pokok di Kabupaten Garut menjelang akhir tahun. Meski ketersediaan masih ada, namun dengan harga yang naik, daya beli masyarakat menjadi tantangan.

“Semua kan banyak, sayur-sayuran komplit, beras juga harganya sekitar 12, harga naik nah jualnya juga seperti itu. Daya belinya kurang,” tandasnya. (Syarip)
