SUKABUMI || Dua narapidana terorisme yang sedang menjalani masa tahanan di Lapas Kelas II B Warungkiara, Kabupaten Sukabumi, Jawa Barat, menjadi pengibar bendera Merah Putih dalam upacara peringatan Ke-78 Hari Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia (HUT Ke-78 RI) pada Kamis (17/8/2023).
Dalam rangka peringatan Hari Kemerdekaan ini, di Lapas Kelas II B Warungkiara Sukabumi, sebanyak 886 narapidana mendapatkan remisi dengan pemotongan masa tahanan antara 15 hari hingga 6 bulan. Sementara itu, ada juga 8 narapidana yang mendapatkan remisi langsung dan bebas.
Kedua narapidana tersebut adalah Fitria Sanjaya dan Fitri Zulkarnain, yang baru beberapa bulan lalu dipenjara di Lapas Warungkiara Sukabumi. Keduanya mengaku tak pernah menyangka bahwa mereka akan berpartisipasi dalam perayaan kemerdekaan negara. Meskipun gugup, mereka berhasil mengibarkan bendera dengan lancar dan melantunkan lagu Indonesia Raya.
Fitria Sanjaya dijatuhi vonis 3 tahun karena terlibat dengan Yayasan Baitul Mal Abdurrahman bin Auf (Laz BM ABA), yang diduga terlibat dalam pengumpulan dana hingga puluhan miliar per tahun. Dana ini diduga digunakan untuk mendanai aktivitas yang terkait dengan organisasi terorisme Jamaah Islamiyah (JI).
Sementara itu, Fitri Zulkarnain divonis 4 tahun dan berasal dari Kabupaten Bulungan, Kalimantan Utara. Ia pertama kali ditahan pada 20 Januari 2021 oleh Polda Metro, kemudian dipindahkan ke Lapas Warungkiara pada 13 Juli 2023. Fitri diduga merupakan tokoh penting di Kaltara Centre dan diduga terlibat dalam pembiayaan aksi terorisme melalui akun media sosialnya.
Salah satu dari mereka, Fitri Zulkarnain, mengungkapkan keberkesanannya menjadi pengibar bendera di Hari Kemerdekaan. Terkait dengan kasus terorismenya, ia bergabung dengan kelompok pada tahun 2020 dan terlibat dalam grup WhatsApp selama beberapa bulan sebelum akhirnya ditangkap oleh kepolisian.
“Dalam persiapan ini kami memerlukan waktu hampir 2 minggu. Saya bergabung sekitar tahun 2020 dalam sebuah grup WhatsApp selama beberapa bulan dan beberapa anggota grup ditangkap karena terkait jaringan terorisme, termasuk saya sendiri,” ungkapnya.
Dia juga menyatakan komitmennya untuk kembali menjadi warga negara Indonesia karena rasa patriotisme yang masih terpatri dalam dirinya. “Tentu saja, saya akan kembali ke NKRI karena cinta saya pada negara ini tercermin dalam catatan perjalanan hidup saya,” jelasnya.
Direktur Penegakan Hukum pada Deputi Bidang Penindakan dan Pembinaan Kemampuan Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme (BNPT), Brigjen Pol Sigit Widodo, berharap bahwa kedua narapidana ini akan menjalani masa hukuman yang diberikan dengan baik.
“Kami sangat bangga melihat mereka mulai menyatu dengan semangat NKRI,” ujarnya singkat.
